![]() Quark is the only program that cannot print. I've already checked with Epson, and I havethe most current, 64-bit-friendly drivers and I don't have problems with printingfrom any other programs including the entire Adobe Creative Suite, MS Word, Firefox, Explorer and Outlook have no problems whatsoever with accessing the printer. For awhile I was able to print by turning off the Windows Search Index service, butthat was only short-lived it lasted for about a week and then seemed toarbitrarily decide to stop working. I even tried creating a ghost Postscriptprinter, and nothing works. I have tried every settingpossible in Quark's PPD manager. When I use the print command, I onlyget the "Cannot open the printer " error message, no matter whatI have set as the default printer whether it is my Epson Stylus Photo 1280 orAcrobat/PDF (I have the full version of Acrobat 9). Dan, Thanks for your input, but I don't think it's even a question of the printer I'm using, because I can't even get as far as accessingthe print menu box to designate a printer.
